About this wine
Two Paddocks Pinot Noir is a beautifully structured Central Otago red, showcasing concentrated dark cherry and ripe berry flavours. The palate delivers excellent weight, body, and texture, with fine tannins adding depth and elegance. Layers of complexity unfold gracefully, leading to a persistent, poised finish. A refined choice for roast duck, mushroom risotto, or soft cheeses.

Actor Sam Neill planted his original 2 hectare vineyard, the First Paddock site, at Gibbston in Central Otago in 1993. That vineyard has now been doubled in size and two more blocks added, the 3 hectare Alex Blocks vineyard perched above the Clutha River at Alexandra and the 5.5 hectare Redbank Paddocks site in the Earnscleugh Valley.

Ideal alongside cured meats like salami and prosciutto, as well as poultry including chicken, duck, and turkey. It’s equally at home with sautéed or fried dishes, soft cheeses like brie and camembert, creamy sauces, and earthy mushrooms.
It also works beautifully with grilled or barbecued chicken, roasted pork or duck, and smoked foods. Onion, garlic, fresh herbs, toasted nuts and seeds, warming spices like cinnamon and clove, pasta, whole grains, and potatoes are excellent partners.
