About this wine

Pegasus Bay Bel Canto Dry Riesling is a vibrant North Canterbury wine, made only in exceptional years. Crafted from hand-selected bunches with a portion of noble botrytis, this Riesling delivers a bright golden hue and a dynamic palate. Aromas of pineapple, mango, and orange blossom burst from the glass, alongside quince, kumquat, and wet river gravel. The palate is rich and textured, balanced by zesty acidity and ripe phenolics, creating superb length and a lingering, moreish finish. A hint of natural spritz adds lift and freshness. Enjoy now or cellar to develop further complexity. Perfect with Thai curries, pork belly, or spiced seafood dishes.

Food pairing suggestions

This wine pairs effortlessly with fresh seafood, from grilled and pan-fried fish to sashimi. Poached or steamed chicken, green vegetables, beans, peas, and fresh herbs complement its crisp character.
