About this wine
One of Australia’s most sought-after Cabernets, Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is a benchmark for Margaret River excellence. Intensely layered, it opens with blueberries, raspberries, red currant, mulberry, and plum, lifted by violets and spice notes of nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. Classic Cabernet elements of cedar, tobacco, and tar add depth, while the rich, expressive palate unfolds with blackcurrant, cherry, blueberry, and dark jube. Medium to full-bodied, its silky, chocolate-like tannins and bright acidity create a seamless, long finish, lingering with toasty oak, cedar, and a touch of star anise. Highly allocated and in demand, this is a collector’s wine with extraordinary aging potential.
