About this wine

Moss Wood Cabernet Sauvignon is a distinguished Margaret River red, delivering intensity and depth. Aromas of blueberries, raspberries, red currant, mulberry, and plum unfold with hints of violets, nutmeg, cinnamon, and clove. Classic Cabernet elements of cedar, tobacco, and tar add complexity, while the rich, expressive palate showcases layers of blackcurrant, cherry, blueberry, and dark jube. Bright acidity and silky, chocolate-like tannins provide structure and length, leading to a long, seamless finish with toasty oak, cedar, and star anise. Enjoy now or cellar for up to 20 years, pairing perfectly with roast lamb, beef fillet, or aged cheddar.

    Food pairing suggestions

This wine is a perfect match for rich red meats like beef, lamb, and venison, especially grilled, barbecued, or roasted. Aged cheeses like cheddar and parmesan, along with dishes seasoned with black pepper or smoky flavours, complement it beautifully.

It also pairs beautifully with grilled or barbecued pork, smoked meats, and cured cuts like salami and prosciutto. Mushrooms, tomato-based dishes, garlic, roasted capsicum, pasta, potatoes, and crusty bread make excellent matches.
