About this wine
A vivid expression of McLaren Vale’s terroir, crafted to highlight the unique character of its single-site origin. Hand-picked, destemmed with some whole clusters retained, and wild-fermented in open vats, this Grenache spent 3 weeks on skins before aging for 7 months on gross lees in old French oak puncheons.
The palate is bright, perfumed, and spice-driven, with layers of red berry fruit, exotic spice, and fine tannins. A lively acidity keeps the wine fresh and energetic, while the structure and complexity promise graceful aging. This Grenache is expressive yet refined, capturing the essence of its vineyard with aromatic lift and finesse.
