About this wine
A pure expression of McLaren Vale terroir, capturing the essence of its single-site origin. Hand-picked and wild-fermented in open vats with some whole cluster retention, this wine was hand-plunged daily and spent 3.5 weeks on skins to build depth and structure. Aged on gross lees in old French oak puncheons for 7 months, it retains vibrancy while showcasing layered complexity.
The palate is richly textured yet refined, with a seamless integration of spice, red fruit purity, and fine tannins. A balance of silky elegance and stony minerality gives this wine its name, expressing both finesse and structure. A true reflection of its site, this Grenache offers depth, brightness, and a lingering finish.
