About this wine
Bream Creek Cuvée Traditionelle is a premium Tasmanian sparkling wine crafted in the traditional method from Chardonnay (63%) and Pinot Noir (37%). Aged extensively on lees and disgorged in October 2024, it offers a rich bouquet of white and yellow stone fruit, red apple, and a touch of shortbread. The palate mirrors these notes, unfolding with hints of brioche and a beautifully dry, crisp finish. Elegant and finely balanced, it shines as an aperitif or alongside richer seafood dishes such as Tasmanian lobster in butter sauce. Will develop further complexity over the next five years.

A classic match for fresh seafood, especially oysters, mussels, and other molluscs, where its bright acidity enhances briny flavours perfectly.
It also pairs wonderfully with cured meats like prosciutto, pork, poultry, and seafood including grilled, fried, or raw fish. Smoked foods, poached or steamed chicken, brie, camembert, cheddar, onion, garlic, green vegetables, toasted nuts and seeds, beans, peas, capsicum, spicy dishes, aromatic spices, pasta, potatoes, and even fresh fruit or berries complement the wine beautifully.
